Wireless Temperature Monitoring and Humidity Measurement

The RF500A Gateway requires no specialized wireless monitoring software. It is assigned a unique IP number and connects directly to the local area network permitting 24/7 single or multi-user access via the internet at anytime.
In the event of readings falling outside of preset limits, alarm notifications occur via the screen, SMS, email or voice for immediate corrective action.
If a power failure occurs, data is stored on the individual transmitter and then automatically sent to the Gateway as soon as the network is restored, so no data is lost.
The new RF542 greatly expands the capability of the RF500 system by sending temperature readings from remote locations back to the Gateway via the LAN instead of via radio. Up to 64 separate locations can communicate with a single Gateway, significantly reducing costs.
Gateway – the RF500A can be ordered with standard AC power or power over ethernet (POE). Each transmitter connects to the Gateway either directly or via the mesh. Up to 64 transmitters can be connected to each Gateway.
Transmitters – all include a waterproof case, an LCD for instant display and LEDs for local alarm indication. A low battery indicator is viewable via the web.
RF512 has an integral temperature sensor plus connectors for two external thermistor probes
and a door sensor.
RF515 can use 4-20mA sensors to measure parameters such as pressure, gas, flow and numerous others.
RF516 is a precision temperature transmitter formeasuring extremely high or low temperatures
via Pt100 probes.
RF513 has integral temperature and humidity sensors and a connector for an external door sensor.
RF542 is a LAN temperature logger for collecting data at a remote site via an ethernet connection which previously required an additional Gateway. The RF542 can monitor two temperature points via single or dual probes at up to 64 locations connecting to a single Gateway.
Viewing the Data
The RF500A Gateway requires no specialist PC software and no licensing fees whatsoever.
The Gateway connects directly to the local area network, permitting 24/7 single or multi-user access via the internet. Programming or data access is achieved via a PC or PDA from any location.
With a full audit trail, electronic signatures and data protection to meet the requirements of 21CFR Part 11, the RF500 is ideal for any high security application where your product and name are paramount. Rapid identification and notification of alarm conditions provide all the necessary assurances for due diligence and HACCP procedures.
Advanced Features Include:
ADR – Automatic Data Retrieval. In the event of a power failure, data is stored in the RF500 transmitter and then automatically transmitted to the Gateway as soon as the network is restored, so no data is lost.
Mesh Network – established through powered transmitters. This enables the system to automatically adjust to any changes in the environment, rerouting signals as required to ensure that data is always returned to the Gateway.
This diagram shows how in the event of a signal being blocked by shifting stock, open doors or parked vehicles, RF500 transmitters automatically seek an alternative route.
